GCSE Results Day Collection Booking Form

GCSE Results will be released on Thursday 24th August 2023. Results will be issued in person, and we are pleased to open the school on this important day in order to support Year 11 with their "next steps". We value the opportunity to meet students, celebrate their achievements and provide them with advice and guidance regarding their future.

For those wishing to collect their results, the school will be open between 08:30 -10:00am. Results will be issued in the Main Hall and students are asked to enter the school via the Hub/Technology gate. Parents/Carers are asked to wait in the Hub Courtyard area. Students who are unable to collect their results may request that their results are sent to them as a secured PDF attachment. This must be to either their Altwood account or one clearly in the student’s own name. Results cannot be sent to a parent’s or carer’s email address. Please note that electronic results will be sent from 10:30am onwards.

Please let us know what you intend to do on results day by completing the form below:

1. Name and email address (an Altwood account or one clearly in the student’s own name. If you use a non-Altwood School email address then we will use this to let you know when your exam certificates are available for collection in December 2023.
2. Choose whether you will be coming to school to collect your results, or if you would like the results sent to you by email.
3. To help our planning, we would also like to know where you hope to go for post-16 education, e.g. whether you will join us in the Sixth Form here at Altwood (subject to obtaining satisfactory grades) or go elsewhere, and if so, where. We would also like to know what you plan to study (e.g. A Level subjects, or the type of vocational course).
4. Once you submit the form you will get an email confirmation and we will receive the same information.
