Overview

7230 via its built in web interface requires that you know its IP address.
This page will help you find this address if the instrument is plugged into
a network that has a DHCP server (most do), the computer on which you are
viewing this page is on the same network, and if the first three octets
of the address of the computer and the lock-in amplifier are the same.
If you are using a PC then you can as an alternative download the SRInstFinder utility that can more quickly find the address of your model 7230 - click here to access the download page
Click the Find Local IP Address button to find the IP address
of the computer on which are you viewing this page. This will give a starting
point for the search for your 7230. You may need to do this more than
once, and agree to Java being run.
This function will work with
Internet Explorer up to version 11 (requires Java to be installed) or with
Chrome and Firefox browsers. It will not work with Safari or Edge.
